I am your guide at My Muse’s Artist. Every life has its own story, it is amazing to me to think that some of what I offer here becomes part of that story. There is real pleasure in witnessing someone reunite with the sweeping, benevolent power of their Muse.

I’m an interdisciplinary artist, deeply invested in a range of materials, with a background in industrial design, and specializing in simple and effortless experiences for aspiring creatives and established artists.

“So, I was not painting when I started your program. Had not painted for months. I saw the path in the woods in your meditation and started painting after that second session. And painted over time, including a visit to Cortland for my sister's birthday. I kept working on the path and trees and leaves. Slowly, a few more finishing touches and here is my finished product. … Thank you for helping me figure out why I stopped painting. And for jump starting my brush again. We are the medicine we need!”

“I just reclined in my chair, closed my eyes, and went for a walk in my mind’s eye. It was so consuming that I was expecting to hear the calls of the birds. The fields reminded me of where I grew up. I did a rough sketch during the exercise, but the experience makes me want to paint again.”

I have to say that, as a musician, I wasn’t sure if the meditation would have any practical application to my art, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The visual side of the meditation “walk” created wonderful images, sparking my creative thought process in general. I can see where this type of interplay with your muse can only lead to a wonderful, creative partnership! I really enjoyed the whole experience!

"While I consider myself an artistic person, I don’t actually do much drawing, painting, etc. Over the years I’ve done a lot of hiking, I am an avid gardener and enjoy visiting botanical gardens. The chance to participate in the meditation and experience such a vivid mental picture, inspired me. Putting pencil to paper, was really quite enjoyable and refreshing. I had forgotten how fun drawing can be and I intend to try to do more! "
